OKAY, BUT WHO ARE WE ACTUALLY, THOUGH?
RIZE עלה is a youth organization in Israel.
Yes, yes, that's right, that's the English version of the word “rise.” Because the usual rise is about any upward movement.
And ours, RIZE עלה, is Jewish - the letter Z stands for Zionism.
Our mission is to integrate the culture and traditions of our people into the modern way of life, to share knowledge and conquer new personal, spiritual and professional heights.
In our community you will find support and inspiration to move only forward!
Education is the foundation of building a strong Jewish future. Our programs — from social events to in-depth classes — are designed to provide high-quality experiences that empower young Jews to connect with their cultural heritage and develop the insight needed to succeed as a Jew in today’s world.
EDUCATION
To make a positive difference in the lives of our participants and the broader Jewish community, we measure the impact of our programs through surveys, hard data, and internal reviews. We believe in the power of our programs to create meaningful change and we strive to measure and communicate this impact through our work.
IMPACT
INCLUSIVITY
At RAJE we believe that being Jewish is about more than just observance of religious rituals; it’s about shared history, values, and a sense of belonging to a global community. Whether you come from a secular background or simply haven’t found a connection to religious practices, you are welcome here.
We believe that community is essential for personal and communal growth. We prioritize building a strong and supportive community of alumni, staff, and students who can continue to support each other long after the program has ended.
COMMUNITY
We understand that young people today lead busy and complex lives, and are committed to working with our students to deliver the full value of RAJE programming. We pride ourselves in our dedication to regularly acquiring student feedback and applying newly gained knowledge to our programming.
FLEXIBILITY
Collaboration is vital for achieving our mission. We work closely with local and global Jewish institutions to create a network of support and resources for our students and alumni.

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR STUDENTS
Our meetings with the mentor were very inspiring for me. I felt the same wave from the first meeting: similar attitudes, values, aspirations and scope of work. My mentor’s experience, her wisdom and kindness, acceptance — helped me to see my strengths and what I need to work on and develop.
Olga Friedman
I believe that in mentoring it is very important to create deep connections, and ideally, to make it unclear over time who is a mentor and who is a mentee.
My mentor is the best thing that has happened to me in many years, such a deep, calm and active person should be found. I am very grateful for this acquaintance and I hope that soon I myself will be able to be useful to other guys in the same role!
Aaron Dov Malkin
For six months, we had different topics, but it was always very relevant, regardless of the topic. I am glad that I have such a mentor who I can turn to regardless of the program.
Elizabeth Shakhmeister
My personal experience of regular communication with a Russian-speaking mentor from the United States is very interesting. In the course of weekly calls, I not only increased my religious knowledge, but also learned a lot about the religious life of my people in another country.
